**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at Soft Spectra Solutions. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective business development strategies, building relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with the technical team to understand project requirements and provide appropriate proposals
  • Utilize CRM software to manage client interactions, track sales activities, and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Negotiate project terms and pricing with clients to close deals
  • Maintain a database of potential clients and projects keeping track of communication and project statuses
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to optimize bidding strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development via Upwork or other freelancing platforms
  • Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the bidding process and proposal writing
  • Experience using CRM software to manage client relationships and sales pipelines
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, marketing, or a related field
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a passion for achieving targets
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Proficiency in Tools: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and marketing tools is a plus
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
