Job Overview

This role requires a highly skilled PHP developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in working exclusively with PHP. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing live sites and proficiency in MVC-based frameworks, as well as knowledge of commonly used PHP products and APIs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality PHP applications using MVC frameworks such as CodeIgniter and CakePHP.
  • Design and implement robust database systems using MySQL to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Work independently and lead a team when required, providing guidance and support to junior developers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and programming trends, adapting quickly to new tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet customer requirements.

Requirements
  1. A minimum of 2 years of working experience exclusively in PHP is required.
  2. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate at least 3 live sites which were either developed entirely by them or under their supervision.
  3. MVC based frameworks experience is necessary.
  4. Working experience in commonly used PHP products (WordPress, Magento, Sugar CRM etc) is essential.
  5. Working experience in commonly used APIs (PayPal, Authorize.net etc) is required.
  6. Experience in commonly used frameworks (CodeIgniter, CakePHP etc) is necessary.
  7. Ability to work independently and lead a team when required is essential.
  8. Willngness to learn new technologies on demand is crucial.
