Job Overview

The Cloud and Information Security Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure and information systems. This involves identifying potential security threats, implementing measures to mitigate those risks, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of the security posture of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Implement robust security tools and controls for cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to enhance the organization's security stance.
  • Configure and monitor on-premises and cloud security tools and services, including firewalls, IAM policies, and permissions.
  • Perform network administrative functions, encompassing WAN connectivity, international sites, and multi-homing internet gateways.
  • Create policies, custom-categories, URL filtering, and add/remove URLs from local categories on Palo Alto and Cisco ASA devices.
  • Monitor network activity through Cacti and firewall management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain InfoSec records as per ISO 27001 standards.
  • Lead and facilitate ISO ISMS 27001 (2013 and 2022) information security assessments and audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for audits, address security concerns, and provide recommendations.
Requirements
  • Must have CCNA certification, ideally CCNP or Fortinet NSE certification.
  • Must be well-versed with ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 27001:2022 Standards.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, or GDPR is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PowerShell) for automation and orchestration is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading information security audits and 2-3+ years of experience in cloud and on-premises infrastructure, network, and system administration.
