Claims Settlement Administrator

This is a key role within our organization, requiring an experienced professional to oversee the management of client funds when cases are settled.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to communicate effectively with medical providers and negotiate liens, while maintaining accurate documentation.

This position involves working closely with clients and insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims, identifying and totaling outstanding billing/lien amounts, and negotiating settlements to optimize outcomes.

We are seeking a skilled professional who can determine liens from various sources, including emergency medical treatment, hospitals, ambulances, collection agencies, chiropractors, and medical doctors.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for communicating with clients and creditors via phone and email to address inquiries and concerns, obtaining final lien amounts from Medicare/Medicaid, and understanding and handling subrogation to ensure accurate claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering data and documents to facilitate settlement processing.
• Corresponding with clients and insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims.
• Identifying and totaling outstanding client billing/lien amounts.
• Negotiating settlements with lien holders and medical providers to optimize outcomes.
• Determining liens from emergency medical treatment, hospitals, ambulances, collection agencies, chiropractors, and medical doctors.
• Communicating with clients and creditors via phone and email to address inquiries and concerns.
• Obtaining final lien amounts from Medicare/Medicaid.
• Understanding and handling subrogation to ensure accurate claims processing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with personal injury, insurance claims, and medical billing processes.
• Experience working with spreadsheets to manage and analyze data.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and the injury claims process.
• Strong professional demeanor and polished communication skills.
• Spanish speaking proficiency is a plus.
