This role involves working with clients to address inquiries and provide guidance on tax and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Qualifications: ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA qualified or pursuing
  • Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm
  • Knowledge: Accounts Payable and Receivable, VAT and Tax Computations, quality standards and quality assurance policies and procedures, English language

  • Tax Returns: Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ranging from simple to complex cases
  • Tax Benefits: Help clients strategically leverage federal, state, and local tax codes to maximize benefits
  • Tax Deductions: Identify deductions and tax credits to minimize client tax liabilities
  • VAT and CT Registration: Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) registration requirements and thresholds
  • Financial Record Review: Review and analyze financial records, including income statements and expenditure documentation
  • Client Interviews: Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations comprehensively
  • Tax Return Verification: Verify the accuracy of past tax returns and ensure records are consistently reconciled
  • Tax Law Research: Refer to tax law handbooks for complex returns to ensure full compliance
  • Tax Advice: Advise clients on relevant laws, including VAT, CT, AML, ESR, and UBO regulations
  • Client Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve client complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Financial Product Recommendations: Recommend financial products and services that meet client needs
  • Tax Filing Software: Use electronic filing software for accurate and timely tax return submission
  • Tax Return Copies: Ensure clients receive copies of their filed tax returns for records
  • Financial Trackers: Regularly update financial trackers and databases for accuracy and accessibility
  • Management Reports: Prepare weekly and monthly summary reports for management review
