Job Title: Material Handling Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced forklift operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload materials independently, as well as operate an overhead crane if installed in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Transport goods within the warehouse using a forklift
- Operate an overhead crane (if installed) to move heavy loads
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A valid forklift operator certification
- Experience in operating a forklift and overhead crane (if applicable)
- Excellent physical health and ability to lift heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. They will be required to wear personal protective equipment and adhere to strict health and safety protocols.
