Associate Network Engineer

This role involves working as part of a team to plan, design, and implement network infrastructure that supports the current needs and future expansion of our clients across Pakistan.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in deployments across Pakistan to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Handle technical issues related to Cisco and Juniper products.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to implement network configurations, including subnet and VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN at various locations.
  • Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks to meet client requirements.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management to ensure the success of the project.
  • Understand the administration and maintenance of corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, internet access, and email.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
  • Ability to work effectively with end-users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive experience in network engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, CCNA are highly desirable.

Technical Competencies:

Knowledge in Routing & Switching, VoIP, Security.

Behavioral/General Competencies:

Highly organized, motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong customer orientation and proficiency in Cisco or Juniper technologies are essential.
