About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead data engineering efforts with a focus on scalable pipeline development and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, pipeline design, and leadership ability to guide and mentor a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines that meet project requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and quality.
  • Optimize and improve existing data systems for better performance and scalability.
  • Participate in coding, troubleshooting, and system design alongside the team.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in data engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python/Scala/Java, and data pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse/lake design.
  • Prior experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
