Job Title: Software Configuration Manager - Technical Lead

About the Role

The Software Configuration Manager is a critical position responsible for technical direction, administrative processes, and management governing identification, change control, status accounting, and auditing of systems or software and their constituent components.

This role requires a strong understanding of the incremental software development life cycle, effective communication skills, and knowledge of ISO and CMMI Level 5. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET ADO.Net, ADO, Classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript/VBScript, and database programming with MS SQL Server 2000 or later.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Compile code to build software applications.
  2. Write scripts to assemble, administer, and deploy code.
  3. Develop features and enhancements in source control tools and the SCM process.
  4. Maintain performance integrity of code across multiple environments.
  5. Establish Configuration Management Policies & procedures.
  6. Provide specialized training to office staff on information technology applications.
  7. Understand code dependencies and daily build variations.
  8. Deploy code to various development and testing environments.
  9. Troubleshoot broken builds and malfunctioning environments.
  10. Proofread/audit code.
  11. Control and manage code, including source, binaries, environment configuration files.
  12. Administer and maintain change management processes.

Requirements
  1. Knowledge of the incremental software development life cycle.
  2. Effective oral and written communication skills.
  3. Knowledge of ISO and CMMI Level 5.
  4. Programming skills in C#, ASP.NET ADO.Net, ADO, Classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript/VBScript.
  5. Database Programming with MS SQL Server 2000 or later.
  6. Analytical Skills with Good level of Communication and Presentation Skills.
  7. 2+ Years of Hands-on Experience on above mentioned skills.
  8. BCS/BS in Computer Sciences, B.E in Computer Engineering-MCS/MS in Computer Sciences will be preferred.
  9. MS Certification will be a plus.
