Quality Assurance and Improvement Professional

As a Quality Assurance and Improvement Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that academic departments meet the high standards of quality set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and align with university policies. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate internal quality assurance activities, monitor progress, and follow up on action plans to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation to track the progress of Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to achieve goals.
  • Support in Program Reviews, Course Files Reviews, and Academic Audit processes, providing essential feedback to faculty members and administrators.
  • Guarantee timely collection and documentation of data required for institutional accreditation, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
  • Manage and update QEC databases and document repositories, maintaining a centralized system for easy access and retrieval.
  • Coordinate faculty, student, alumni, and employer feedback surveys across departments, collecting valuable insights to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and review academic programs to ensure they meet HEC standards and university policies.
  • Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with department heads to implement quality improvement plans and monitor progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, business administration, or social sciences).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, academic administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.

Working Environment:

  • Work closely with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in institutional committees and working groups focused on quality assurance and improvement.
