Quality Assurance Specialist

The key objective of the Quality Assurance Specialist is to facilitate a culture of quality enhancement in academic programs, ensuring compliance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) requirements and guidelines.

  • Collaborate with departmental teams to prepare Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) according to HEC specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of the University Portfolio Report (UPR), showcasing the institution's accomplishments and goals.
  • Coordinate with accreditation bodies, including the HEC, Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), and others, for audit visits.
  • Support academic programs as needed for accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to national and international standards.
  • Ensure effective communication and cooperation among various stakeholders involved in university accreditation activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement across the institution.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for coordinating quality assurance initiatives, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and promoting a culture of excellence within the institution. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for quality enhancement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare reports and documentation for accreditation applications, collecting and compiling necessary information from stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with departmental teams to implement quality enhancement strategies.
  3. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote quality awareness and best practices.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
