Location: Islamabad

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Professional to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in applications and systems, ensuring they are secure from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and network systems to identify potential security risks.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure adherence to secure coding practices and provide guidance on remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security audits and reviews to ensure systems are compliant with internal security policies and industry regulations such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices by actively engaging in security communities and leveraging threat intelligence feeds.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years of experience in security testing, ethical hacking, or penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with security testing tools: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus, Kali Linux, and Wireshark.
  • Certifications: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools for security testing, along with scripting capabilities to develop custom exploits.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered code assistants, automated testing, and AI-driven DevSecOps tools preferred

Skills Required:

  • Vulnerability Assessment Tools: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus, Qualys.
  • Penetration Testing: Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark.
  • Security Audits & Compliance: GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, OWASP Top 10.
  • Scripting: Knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tests and exploiting vulnerabilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking to identify potential security flaws and vulnerabilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously identify security gaps and vulnerabilities in applications and systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to devise practical solutions to complex security problems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills for reporting security findings and collaborating with technical teams to implement security measures.
