Role Description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled full-stack engineer to join a small team focused on Database-as-a-Service products.

This role involves developing external customer-facing Managed Database products, contributing to design and discussion on technical architecture, building delightful user experiences, and providing last-line support for DBaaS products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Caching, Kafka, OpenSearch, MongoDB, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with peers to develop APIs with Go Lang and leverage technologies such as Temporal, gRPC, REST, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Grafana, and more.
  • Contribute to testing, maintenance, and deployment automation to increase development velocity and resiliency.

As a member of our agile team, you will work closely with other front-end developers and designers to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in developing infrastructure and products from ideation to deployment, with a focus on front-end engineering and services.
  • Strong experience in React, Typescript, and GraphQL.
  • Solid understanding of building and maintaining microservices within distributed systems.
  • Working knowledge of microservices using container workload engines and frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes.
