About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Travel Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key player in the travel industry, you will be responsible for creating bespoke travel experiences for our clients, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional value and unparalleled customer service.

Job Description

  • You will work closely with clients to understand their unique travel needs, preferences, and requirements, tailoring your approach to deliver personalized results.
  • With a focus on attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences, you will plan, prepare, and book comprehensive travel itineraries, incorporating flights, hotels, transport, and tours.
  • Using GDS platforms such as Galileo and Sabre, you will efficiently manage reservations and fare calculations, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • You will drive sales growth by promoting and upselling travel packages, upgrades, and additional services, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintaining accurate records of bookings, payments, and client profiles using CRM, you will facilitate seamless communication and follow-up throughout the customer journey.
  • Providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after travel, you will deliver outstanding experiences that exceed client expectations.
  • In the event of any issues, you will efficiently resolve client concerns, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
  • Staying up-to-date with travel regulations, visa requirements, and destination knowledge, you will continuously enhance your expertise and adapt to changing industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in GDS platforms, particularly Galileo and Sabre.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial.
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet sales targets, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A proactive attitude, combined with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
