About the Role:

This is a key role within our DeFi Dapp engineering team, and we are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer with expertise in DeFi protocol development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS security, GitLab security, and application-level security.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based systems.
  • Build and maintain AWS infrastructure.
  • Ensure security best practices through regular audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
  • Develop and maintain backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption.
  • Work with the larger DevOps team to accomplish company-wide goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
  • 5+ years of AWS security, including IAM, Secrets Manager, EC2, and Lambda.
  • Experience managing GitLab security, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning.
  • Professional experience with application-level security.
  • Knowledge of backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption.
  • Knowledge and experience with CDK, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, C#, NodeJs, and Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator.
  • Excited by problem-solving.
  • Fearless.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
  • Certifications in AWS or GitLab security.
  • Passionate and driven to work in an innovative environment.
