Job Overview

The Tax & Accounting Associate will be responsible for interacting with clients to address their queries and resolving any disputes. This role requires strong communication skills and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction: Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial needs and resolve any issues.
  • Tax Planning: Assist clients in planning and preparing their tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze clients' financial records to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimizing their financial situation.
  • Bookkeeping: Manage clients' bookkeeping tasks, including payables and receivables management, petty cash maintenance, and bank coordination.
  • Compliance: Ensure clients meet all tax and compliance requirements, minimizing the risk of penalties.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Finance and Accounting is required.
  • Qualifications: ACCA/ CA / CPA /CMA qualifications are preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an accounting firm is desired.
  • Skills: Proficiency in VAT and Tax Computations, excellent knowledge of Accounting standards, and good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential.
