Nurse Educator, Department of Nursing Education Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for assessing learning needs, developing and conducting orientation programs, training courses, and in-service education sessions for nursing employees.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess the learning needs of orientees/trainees during courses and traineeship.
- Develop and conduct orientation programs, training courses, basic skills training, and in-service education sessions for the development of nursing employees.
- Plan, develop, and organize programs, courses, workshops to meet broad nursing needs and institutional patient care objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group learning.
- Ensure that educational programs are congruent with organizational goals.
- Demonstrate sound theoretical and practical knowledge related to adult teaching-learning processes.
Requirements:
- A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school.
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse/equivalent, preferably with some clinical teaching experience.
- A valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council.
- Certified BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP (Provider/Instructor).
- Possess competencies to impart skills and knowledge to the audience.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing policies and processes.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
