About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our project team. As a consultant, you will provide expert-level support in database administration, working closely with our project management group to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database administration, including design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. You will also be responsible for ensuring data security, backup and recovery procedures, and troubleshooting database-related issues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in Oracle database administration, with expertise in Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) and Active Data Guard.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting languages.
  • Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery procedures, and data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database technologies, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, as well as experience with Linux servers and virtual environments.
