Job Description

This is a mid-senior level position that plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining distributed applications using the Oracle Tuxedo middleware platform.

Main Responsibilities
  • Distributed Application Development: Design and develop efficient, scalable, and reliable distributed applications using the Oracle Tuxedo middleware platform.
  • Coding Expertise: Write high-quality code in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or COBOL to implement application logic.
  • Environment Configuration: Configure and manage the Oracle Tuxedo environment, including setting up application servers, managing resources, and optimizing performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design application architecture, and ensure seamless integration.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for applications, including code comments, technical specifications, and system configurations.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Oracle Tuxedo applications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in developing distributed applications using Oracle Tuxedo middleware platform.
  • Coding Proficiency: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or COBOL.
  • Middleware Concepts: Familiarity with middleware concepts, distributed computing, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
  • Database Knowledge: Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
