Job Opportunity

NICU Technician Position. The primary role involves providing comprehensive care and support to neonates under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians in a NICU setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment is properly sterilized and functioning correctly, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Assist with the handling and transportation of premature or critically ill infants, prioritizing their well-being and safety at all times.
  • Accurately record and maintain patient data, including vital signs and medical information, facilitating effective communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Comply with hospital protocols, ensuring adherence to established safety and infection control procedures.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as required, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to parents and families, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care/Operating Theatre/Paramedical Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Previous experience in NICU or pediatric care is highly desirable, although not essential.
  • Knowledge of neonatal care equipment and procedures is crucial for success in this role.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work long shifts and manage stressful situations with professionalism is critical for this position.
