Job Title: Senior Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology, with expertise in mineral exploration and leadership.

Job Description

As a Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for leading and managing geological teams to explore and evaluate new opportunities in Pakistan. You will work closely with the company's strategic priorities to identify and assess potential projects, and develop and execute exploration programs through the pipeline of exploration projects.

You will also be responsible for overseeing the development of exploration programs, ensuring good practices in data collection and management, and delivering technical and geological information according to the standards required by the geoinformatics department.

Additionally, you will integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical information to define pragmatic and robust exploration programs, prepare written reports and presentations on technical visits and progress reports, and conduct technical visits to other projects/sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in geology, with expertise in mineral exploration and leadership
  • At least 8 years of proven experience in mineral exploration
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity within exploration teams
  • Practical, hands-on experience in gold-copper exploration projects
  • Strong track record of exploration works specifically within Pakistan
  • In-depth knowledge of hydrothermal alteration types and their distribution/zoning in gold-silver epithermal and copper-gold, copper-molybdenum porphyry deposits
  • In-depth knowledge of conceptual geological models of epithermal and porphyry mineral deposits
  • Proficiency in Leapfrog, IoGas, and ArcGIS Pro
  • Familiarity with geophysical methods such as CSAMT and IP-Resistivity
