Aircraft Maintenance Professional

The aircraft maintenance engineer will be responsible for performing and certifying maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities on aircraft structures, powerplants, and mechanical systems during heavy maintenance checks. This role requires strict compliance with aviation regulations, technical expertise, and a focus on ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and airworthiness.

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance checks on aircraft in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
  • Carry out troubleshooting, rectification, and certification of defects on aircraft systems (airframe, engines, and associated mechanical systems).
  • Evaluate aircraft/engine systems within the scope of B1 authorization.
  • Ensure timely completion and release of aircraft within defined Turn-Around Times (TATs).
  • Certify aircraft to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance documentation, technical logs, and reports.
  • Support quality inspections and continuous airworthiness activities.
  • Identify potential risks or safety concerns and escalate as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid AME License – B1 with aircraft type rating.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in heavy/base maintenance.
  • Thorough knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork capabilities.
