Senior Wildlife Conservation Specialist

The Senior Project Officer will oversee and implement all project activities, ensuring timely delivery of the workplan. Specific responsibilities include preparing project budgets, leading and coordinating the project team, and developing and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Implement project activities as per the agreement between IUCN and government agencies, in accordance with the approved workplan.
- Prepare project budgets and maintain record of project expenditures in compliance with IUCN's financial policies.
- Lead and coordinate the project team to ensure high-quality outputs.
Maintain close collaboration with government agencies, research institutions, and conservation organizations to effectively implement the project.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Zoology or Forestry with at least 05-06 years of post-study experience in wildlife surveys/assessments/conservation etc. Fluency in local languages of Punjab will be an added advantage.

- Fluency in English, Urdu and local languages of Punjab.
The gross annual salary for this position is between PKR 4,441,287 and PKR 5,551,609. While this is an indicative amount effective as of the current date, changes may occur as per IUCN's compensation practices without prior notice.
