Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, on-trend content that resonates with curly hair communities and showcases our brand's personality.
  • Manage social media calendars, ensuring consistent posting aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand voice.
  • Lead community management: respond to comments, DMs, and brand mentions with empathy, authenticity, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and influencer teams to ensure social content integrates into broader campaigns.
  • Track performance with analytics tools, measure KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions), and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, cultural moments, and algorithm changes, adapting strategies to maximize impact.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for consumer brands in the beauty, haircare, or lifestyle industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – must be able to craft compelling captions, scripts, and brand storytelling pieces.
  • Deep understanding of social media dynamics: algorithms, audience behavior, cultural relevance, and platform-specific strategies.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing past work (campaigns, reels, TikTok content, growth strategies).
  • Experience with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of paid social media ads and influencer marketing.
  • Ability to work independently, think creatively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
