We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Gender Policy Initiative in Pakistan.

  • Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the incumbent will perform tasks related to gender integration and capacity building.

The project aims to improve adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities by enhancing early warning systems, developing anticipatory action protocols, and promoting climate-resilient livelihoods.

  • Key responsibilities include leading the gender component of the project, conducting capacity needs assessments, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing training workshops.

The successful candidate will have expertise in conducting gender analysis, integrating gender-sensitive approaches, and working with government bodies, women's groups, and local communities.

  • We are looking for a candidate with strong stakeholder engagement skills, effective training and presentation skills, and fluency in English language.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Management Unit, District Coordination Groups, and other GCF projects to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.

  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring project implementation, preparing progress reports, and documenting lessons learned and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • An advanced university degree in Gender, Development Studies, Economics, Political Science, Anthropology, or any other relevant Social Science discipline is required.
