Pediatric Surgeon Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced pediatric surgeon to join our team as a Senior Medical Officer.

As a Senior Medical Officer in Pediatric Surgery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric surgery, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care. You will be expected to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.

• Taking complete histories, performing physical examinations, and stabilizing admitted patients, initiating treatment according to Pediatric Surgery protocols or as advised by the consultant.
• Responding promptly to resuscitation calls or neonatal emergencies at the emergency room.
• Documenting clinical summaries for all shifts (morning, evening, night) and recording any serious events.
• FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS provided by the Pediatric Surgery consultant.
• Performing clinical procedures such as lumbar puncture and exchange transfusion after consulting the departmental head, in accordance with Pediatric Surgery policies.
• Prescribing home medications.
• Admitting pediatric patients following the admission policy.
• Ensuring all leaves are approved in advance by informing the concerned authority or head of department.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• A recognized medical qualification (e.g., MBBS).
