Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Bulgarian Interpreters and Translators in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad to work within various settings such as healthcare, legal, educational, immigration & refugee services.

Established in 2001, we provide professional interpreting and translation services to both the government, public and private sectors across organizations around the globe. If you speak fluent English and Bulgarian language, this could be the role for you.

The Job:

Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Interpreting for people using legal, health and local government services
  • Checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaising between the service user and service provider
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English or another language
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
  • Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
