Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for managing assigned territories, developing targets, and implementing sales strategies to achieve business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Country Business Development Manager (BDM) and Sales Support team to contribute to the route-to-market strategy for target customers.
- Develop targets for key accounts within the region and regularly meet with customers to track, monitor, and report on performance against targets.
- Collaborate with customers to identify product-related or sales-related issues and provide feedback internally.
- Act as the first point of contact for key customers to resolve issues, collect payments, and coordinate with logistics for timely delivery.
- Visit stores to check stock levels and product expiry dates, ensuring the availability of quality products.
- Identify, pursue, and build strong business relationships with key customers.
- Expand our presence in underserved markets using market intelligence.
- Provide feedback to senior management on product performance and issues.
- Monitor and report on regional spend, highlighting variances against the budget.
- Attend regular reviews with the BDM to report sales performance and address potential issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports for the region.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures consistently.
