Job Title: Senior Security Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Officer to lead our security operations and protect our people, property, and assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security strategies, systems, and policies; conducting risk assessments; managing security staff; and coordinating with law enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership, Training and Team Management (25%)

The incumbent must have strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills, as well as proven experience in managing security operations, staff, procurement, and contracts in international organizations.

They must also have the ability to design and deliver security training programs, stay up-to-date with security trends, and recommend enhancements.

Required Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of security strategies, risk assessment, and operational management
  • Proven experience managing security operations, staff, procurement, and contracts in international organizations
  • Ability to design and deliver security training programs
  • Up-to-date knowledge of security technologies, incident management tools, and systems

Required Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Analytical, decisive, and calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 5 years' proven security management experience, preferably with an international organization
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Degree in Security Management or related field is an advantage

Professional Certifications (Highly Desirable):

  • Relevant Diploma or recognized certifications such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CSM, CPO, or equivalent
  • UNDSS SSAFE/HEAT or similar field security training is an asset
