Mid Level Cyber Security Researcher

Role Overview:

Cybersecurity experts are sought to enhance offensive security operations through advanced research, red teaming engagements, and automation of security processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Red Team Assessments: Perform thorough security assessments, penetration testing, and adversary simulations to identify vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and cloud environments.
  2. Security Research: Conduct research to identify and exploit vulnerabilities using cutting-edge tools and techniques.
  3. Automation and Development: Develop and automate security testing tools and attack simulations to improve efficiency and scalability.
  4. Implementation of Frameworks: Implement automated reconnaissance and exploitation frameworks to streamline offensive security operations.
  5. Threat Intelligence: Utilize threat intelligence to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with blue teams to improve overall security posture.
  7. Documentation: Document research findings, security assessments, and automation workflows.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Expertise: Possess expertise in Application Security, Cybersecurity, and Security Research.
  2. Hands-on Experience: Have hands-on experience with security tools (Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, etc.).
  3. Bug Bounty Track Record: Proven bug bounty track record with high-impact findings.
  4. Security Automation: Experience in security automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
  5. Exploit Development: Knowledge of exploit development, malware analysis, and reverse engineering.
  6. Network Security: Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and penetration testing methodologies.
  7. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
