Accurate Cost Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Construction Estimator to join our team.
This role is responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates that drive successful project execution.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, budgets, and cost breakdowns for various types of construction projects.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather necessary project information and clarify scope of work.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and accuracy.
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess site conditions and potential project challenges.
- Maintain and update cost databases, unit price libraries, and estimation tools in line with current market trends.
- Analyze historical data and past project performances to refine estimating processes and improve cost accuracy.
- Collaborate with project teams during post-award phases to support budgeting, procurement, and cost tracking.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a construction estimating role.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry practices.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, Sage Estimating, etc.).
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
