Civil Estimation Engineer

  • Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and estimate corresponding resources.">
  • Good command on excel based working to derive cost estimate correspondingly prepare priced BOQs and Technical submission.">
  • Hands on experience of standards estimation tools and software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.">
  • Prepare and develop Techno commercial proposals meeting client & ITB requirements.">
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to determine compliant & competitive cost meeting specification requirements.">
  • Identify and address discrepancies in received BOQs and other relevant documents.">
  • Propose cost effective solutions & alternatives to remain competitive meeting ITB and client / project requirements.">

Collaboration and Coordination

  • ">
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, subcontracting, and construction teams to ensure alignment of cost estimates with project plans.">
  • Engage with stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors, to discuss and finalize cost-related matters.">
  • Provide technical support during client meetings, pre-bid clarifications, and project negotiations.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.">
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cost estimation for civil works, preferably in Oil & Gas / petrochemical projects.">
  • Proven track record in preparing cost estimates for large-scale projects in Middle East, preferably of UAE region.">

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX)">
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, material specifications and sub-contracting .">
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards like ACI, ASTM, and BS standards.">
