Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage the scheduling and routing of trucks, coordinate deliveries, and communicate with drivers and brokers.
Main Responsibilities:Hunt for optimal truck loads from load boards to ensure efficient routes.
Manage driver routes, coordinating delivery times to meet customer expectations and maintain a high level of service quality.
Communicate effectively with brokers regarding delivery schedules and rates to build strong relationships.
Monitor driver performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures to minimize risk.
Maintain accurate records of all shipments, deliveries, and pickups in a timely and organized manner.
Ensure timely completion of necessary paperwork and documentation.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a logistics coordinator or in a related field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively.
- Detailed knowledge of transportation laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
