We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the payment industry and market trends in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. They will be able to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with local payment service providers, banks, and fintech companies.
- Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business goals.
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals to secure new business partnerships.
- Utilizing CRM software to manage client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
- Providing market insights and feedback to management to inform product development and business strategy.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, specifically within the IT, SaaS, or web development industries.
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales and achieving targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, SaaS models, and the web development landscape to effectively engage clients.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts simply.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a knack for closing deals and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and leveraging business opportunities.
- Culturally aware and adaptable, with the ability to work in a diverse environment and build relationships across borders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to target markets are highly desirable.
Prior experience in the payment industry, familiarity with local payment ecosystems, and knowledge of fintech companies and cross-border e-commerce businesses would be advantageous.
