Role Description
  • The Embedded QA Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring quality and reliability of embedded products.
  • This involves testing and quality assurance of hardware and software integration with a strong background in electrical engineering or computer science.

The ideal candidate will have a collaborative spirit and experience in testing and quality assurance, along with proficiency in C/C++, Python, SQL and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for embedded systems.
  2. Design, implement and maintain functional testing to deliver quality features.
  3. Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  4. Collaborate with the development team to understand system requirements and provide input during design phase.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience as an Embedded QA Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and QA testing life cycles.
  • Experience with bug reporting and tracking tools.
