Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure the company's accounting system using Zoho Books to meet financial reporting and compliance needs.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of receipts, incentives, and deposits.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions for easy accessibility and audits.
  • Assist in data entry, ensuring accuracy in recording financial transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
  • Generate financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to process employee payrolls efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements related to payroll.
  • Learn and document all accounting and financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Xero).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and their integration into accounting workflows.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping processes.
