Job Title: Digital Search Optimization Specialist

Overview:

The Digital Search Optimization Specialist will be responsible for owning and executing the end-to-end search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, ensuring excellence from the ground up. This role requires a deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, and analytics to drive organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an SEO roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits and optimize site structure, metadata, and internal linking.
  • Track algorithm updates, competitor activity, and market trends.

Technical SEO:

  • Evaluate and ensure our new website launch meets best practices (architecture, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, etc.).
  • Collaborate with developers to implement structured data, sitemaps, hreflang tags, and more.
  • Optimize for page speed, mobile UX, and indexation issues.

On-Page & Content Optimization:

  • Lead keyword research, topic clustering, and content gap analysis.
  • Partner with content teams to optimize relevance, UX, and internal linking.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

  • Design white-hat link-building strategies.
  • Oversee outreach, monitor backlink health, and manage disavow files.

Analytics, Reporting & CRO:

  • Use GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to track performance.
  • Report on KPIs including traffic, keyword ranking, CTR, and conversions.
  • Run A/B tests to boost organic conversions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally in eCommerce or retail.
  • Deep technical SEO knowledge and hands-on site optimization experience.
  • Strong grasp of Core Web Vitals, Google's algorithm updates, and E-E-A-T.
  • Proficient in tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA, and GSC.
  • Experience collaborating with devs, content creators, and marketers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
