Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional desktop support and helpdesk services to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding desktop support and helpdesk services with strong communication skills, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of experience.
  • Provide remote resolution and support efficiently, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimizing downtime.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Operating Systems (OS) as needed, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Prominently handle printer installation and troubleshooting tasks, guaranteeing uninterrupted printing services.
  • Expertly resolve antivirus-related issues, including updates and compliance checks according to company policies, safeguarding user data and devices.
  • Accurately track assets using the IMAC Process, maintaining a precise inventory and facilitating efficient asset management.
  • Troubleshoot internet and network devices as required, addressing connectivity issues and ensuring stable network performance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum educational qualification of graduation or 12+ diploma is necessary, demonstrating a solid foundation in computer science or a related field.
  • Candidates must possess excellent voice and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and networking fundamentals is expected, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of system architecture and device operations.
  • A basic understanding of ITIL processes, including SLAs, ticketing tools, service requests, incidents, and IMAC, is required, highlighting proficiency in service management best practices.
