Warehouse Operations Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will oversee all activities in the Finished Goods and Packaging Material warehouses. This includes managing inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring inventory control, upholding warehouse safety standards, and implementing continuous improvements.

This position involves:

  • Coordinating the receipt of inbound goods from production and ensuring adherence to standardized storage protocols.
  • Planning storage strategies in alignment with production schedules.
  • Directing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and security measures.
  • Maintaining appropriate storage environments to protect goods from adverse weather conditions.
  • Executing delivery and fulfillment processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting Perfect Order benchmarks.
  • Enhancing dispatch quality to reduce customer complaints.
  • Administering outbound logistics in compliance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
  • Leading and training the team in advanced warehouse methodologies.
  • Ensuring Material Handling Equipment operates continuously to avoid delays.
  • Facilitating internal and external audits by customers or third parties.
  • Responding to emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse in compliance with Food-Grade Quality Management Systems.
  • Guiding the team to improve overall warehouse operations.
  • Compiling and managing comprehensive records and reports on warehouse activities, staff, and machinery.
  • Collaborating with inventory and order processing teams to adjust stock levels.
  • Overseeing Integrated Pest Management activities to preserve finished goods integrity.
