Location: Rakh Canal Plant, Faisalabad

Reports to: Manager Maintenance, RCP

Direct Reports: approximately 80

As Principal Engineer, Maintenance, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling operations, maintenance, projects, resources, and staff with expertise to ensure effective and efficient performance.

1. Operation & Maintenance: Possess expertise in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and utility systems, including compressors, cooling towers, pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, fans, motors, switchgears, generators, 132 KV grid stations, and PLC/DCS systems. Well-versed in Reliability Centered Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and Time-Based Maintenance.
2. Project Management: Design mechanical and electrical systems, implement modifications, and manage CAPEX projects to meet timelines and control cash flows.
3. Inventory Management: Evaluate critical store items, develop machine parts lists, and track deliveries to ensure operational continuity.
4. Contractor Management: Manage contractor relationships, oversee project execution within budget and timeline, develop contracts, evaluate bids, and process billings.
5. People Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams, foster collaboration, and guide staff in technical and safety practices.
6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
7. Continuous Improvement: Initiate energy conservation and process optimization projects, prepare feasibility reports, and manage procurement and execution.
8. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with HR for training, communicate with stakeholders, and work with procurement for cost-effective import substitutes.

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, process, food, or cement industries
• Minimum 10 years in O&M of electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of maintenance methodologies, reliability management, and team development
• Proficiency in ERP (SAP), Lean Six Sigma, MS Office, ETAB, AutoCAD, Power BI
• Understanding of EHS, IMS, GPM, ISO, and Food Safety standards

• Team player capable of working under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
