The Commercial Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success through strategic sales engagement. Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and engage clients in targeted market verticals.
- Build a high-value pipeline with a strong focus on early-stage project identification and qualification.
- Lead end-to-end bid management, including proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Own the financial performance of the commercial segment and manage financial risks.
- Control operational costs and ensure sustainable profitability.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, business plans, and financial performance reports to senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Serve as the main liaison for strategic accounts, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct client meetings, deliver technical presentations, and facilitate workshops to position the company's value proposition.
- Actively track design-phase and pre-tender projects for early positioning.
- Build strong networks within the construction and MEP consulting ecosystem.
- Monitor competitor activities and evolving market dynamics to sharpen the sales approach.
- Coordinate with engineering, execution, and service teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
- Partner with the marketing team for lead generation, campaigns, and branding efforts.
- Channel client and market feedback to product development and innovation teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 7–10 years of proven success in technical sales, preferably in BMS, HVAC controls, or industrial automation.
- Strong track record in financial management and exceeding sales targets.
- Well-established network in the construction, MEP, and consultant community.
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial and business acumen.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of BMS technologies and integration protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Self-starter with leadership ability and experience in managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
- Expansion of strategic accounts and acquisition of new clients.
- Early identification and successful closure of design-phase projects.
- High client satisfaction and strong retention metrics.
