  • Collaborate with engineers across teams to design and build scalable backend applications and services.
  • Write high-quality, performant, and reliable code.
  • Continuously improve service quality and help define team patterns and principles.
  • Become subject matter expert in area and collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand and refine functional specifications.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and resolve incidents within defined SLA.
  • Participate in agile and engineering practices and lead their continuous evolution.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Golang ensuring clean and efficient code.
  • Set up CI pipelines with quality gates and artifact storage procedures.
  • Write unit and integration tests within Golang ecosystem.
  • Identify memory leaks and performance issues using Golang toolset.
  • Understand Golang code and libraries behavior under load.
  • Design event-based systems with suggested guarantees.
  • Understand Kafka essentials topics, partitions, consumer groups acknowledgments.
  • Understand limitations of different message serialization approaches.
  • Understand principles of NoSQL databases and select appropriate types.
  • Create decision documents and diagrams.
  • Write Redis queries understand Redis structures and its limitations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience with Java Spring, Golang and AWS.
  • Experience working with container technology including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in high-paced start-up environment.
