About the Role

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our e-commerce department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online store.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They will be responsible for assisting in the scoping of e-commerce projects, undertaking assigned tasks, and collaborating with developers to implement new modules and functionalities into the production environment.

Additionally, they will be required to address assigned issues until their resolution is deployed to the production environment, ensure significant issues are escalated to project managers and senior IT management, and update B2C website content in consultation with the e-commerce team.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring consistency between website content, display advertising, and emailing campaigns, monitoring and interpreting results of local websites' performances, and analyzing display advertising results from campaigns to improve ROI.

Furthermore, they will work across marketing and IT functions to ensure that requirements and developments are included in all functional strategies and plans.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of SEO and Google Analytics, knowledge of customer journey's through transactional websites, and familiarity with content management systems.

They will also have the ability to formulate plans, schedules, and supervise others, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce or related field
