We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to generating leads, and the ability to work collaboratively with our Operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to generate new business.
- Establish and build out proposals to meet client supply chain needs.
- Promote international freight forwarding services, including ocean import/export, air import/export, and trucking.
- Create quotes and bid proposals and present them to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify market trends and competitive rate actions and communicate those trends to management.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain consistent communication with our Operations team and overseas offices.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding sales or general sales.
- Knowledgeable about freight forwarding operations in ocean and air transportation.
- Existing client base.
- Self-starter with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Client-focused mindset with a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of selling logistics services.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals.
- Excel in decision-making and problem-solving with exceptional analytical skills.
