About this role:

We're looking for a seasoned expert in Ruby on Rails to lead our development efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and maintainable applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect robust Ruby on Rails applications
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails
  • Expertise in MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced development environment

Technical Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework and MVC architecture
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web application security
  • Proficiency in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and GitHub
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Job Type: Full-time

Work Timings: Flexible hours, with occasional evening shifts
