Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Ruby on Rails Developer Leader who will lead the design, development, and deployment of applications. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and development of scalable and maintainable Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Mentor and guide developers to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to enhance system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in Ruby on Rails.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • Expertise in MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced development environment.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails framework and MVC architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web application security.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
