Registered Healthcare Professional - Anesthesiology & Critical Care
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role in which you will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. As a Registered Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patients' vital signs, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Administer medications as prescribed by anesthesiologists, adhering to strict protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to enable timely intervention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- BScN or Diploma in General Nursing with relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on evidence-based care.
This role requires working in a hospital setting, with regular exposure to stressful situations. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment and adhere to infection control protocols. Regular breaks and ongoing training will be provided to support your well-being and professional growth.
