Mission Statement: This role encompasses the strategic oversight of procurement activities, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with established procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the tender process from start to finish, verifying completeness and accuracy of documents before issuance to suppliers.
  • Monitor and maintain the tender sale management process for smooth operations.
  • Solve issues or challenges during the tender sale promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant rules, regulations, and registrations with government or semi-government bodies.
  • Coordinate dispatch operations, including receipt and recording of tender requests via mail and courier delivery.
  • Correspond with suppliers through various channels to address queries and concerns.
  • Oversee the receipt of bids, ensuring timely and accurate recording of date, time, and samples if applicable.
  • Coordinate the bid opening process publicly with relevant stakeholders.
  • Digitize tender documents accurately and on time through data entry, scanning, and tapping.
  • Analyze bid offers post-opening, scrutinizing financial bids and guarantees, and record financial documents and earnest money properly.
  • Promptly transfer custody of financial documents to the Treasury Department.
  • Act as a central point of contact between the Tender Room and user departments for effective communication and workflow.
  • Identify and develop strategies for risks under their management, monitoring and reporting on them accurately.
    • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
    • At least 9 years of working experience in Government/Semi-Government/Reputable Corporate Organizations.
    • Prior knowledge of PPRA rules and regulations is preferred.
