Medical Informatics Leadership Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Chief Medical Information Officer to provide strategic leadership in planning, implementing, and optimizing medical information technology systems. This role is responsible for maximizing the full potential of IT investments, promoting the use of technology, and improving quality of care and services delivered to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the impact of IT services on clinical processes and provide strategic leadership on EHR system implementation.
  • Provide effective user support and education for EHR system adoption, ensuring continuous education, involvement, and support of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Drive continuous improvement of quality and impact of medical information systems and data, participating in quality improvement committees and collaborating with clinical leadership and IT teams.
  • Establish medical information systems guidelines and policies based on best practices, developing and monitoring evidence-based automated clinical guidelines.
Requirements
  1. MBBS/MScN degree or equivalent with an additional Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or Computer Science.
  2. Certification in Clinical Informatics is preferred.
  3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical settings, with a minimum 3 years' experience in leadership, information technology management, or clinical informatics.
  4. Widespread knowledge and practical experience with electronic health information systems.
