Job Description

Motive empowers organizations with tools to enhance productivity and profitability. Our platform provides complete visibility and control, automating tasks and simplifying operations for businesses.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will utilize your technical expertise in designing and architecting Motive Fleet products. You will mentor junior developers, suggest architectural refinements, and keep the tech stack up to date.

The ideal candidate will have strong software design and architecture skills, experience leading complex frontend projects, and knowledge of agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead medium to large complexity frontend projects, involving teams of 2+ developers
  • Make architectural design decisions, plan dev milestones, and break down tasks for sprint planning
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, designers, and QA to efficiently execute on projects
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and onboard new hires
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain the quality of the code base
Requirements
  • 4+ years of frontend development experience in a major frontend framework/stack
  • Mid-advanced knowledge of Angular framework is a plus
  • Experience leading complex frontend projects, including architecture and design decision making
  • Strong software design and architecture skills
  • Exposure to agile methodology of software development
